Near Hoquiam, Washington, was Polson Brothers Logging Company’s Railroad Camp, headquarters for a huge timber operation. Polson operated Railroad Camp from 1903 until 1948, when the operation was sold to Rayonier. Combining period photos with shots taken in the 1950s and 1960s, this book portrays the operation throughout its existence. Included are log-loading and unloading operations, shops, living and dining facilities, and locomotive portraits.
